Right before my very eyes...

This little girl of mine is growing oh so quickly.
I don't know the potty 2 days ago, and now this morning Lily had her first bath in the big bath in her seat.
She really enjoyed her bath. Recently I have noticed Lily is getting to big for her baby bath, and the seat that goes in it. During the past week or so Lily decided that she no longer wanted to lay down in the baby bath, and so she began trying to sit up in her seat, which really isn't designed for sitting in.

Lily enjoying her new seat.
The only thing I am not all that happy about is the extra water that is needed in the big bath compared to the small bath.
However each morning I empty the baby bath onto our lawn, so I will do the same in the big bath. The lawn certainly appreciates it.
On the topic of recycling water, not sure if anyone has tried it, but rather than pouring the water from steamed vegies down the drain, I wait for it to cool and water my potplants with it, the plants thrive on it! It must be the nutrients in the water from the vegetables.

Anyhow so now Lily has made the transition into the big bath, this precious first year with Lily is passing by far to quickly.

Here are some pictures from over the past week.

Hi Jess

Wow, sometimes it seems as though our babies reach some of their milestones in one big hit. The potty and big girl bath, what next for your divine Lily? She is adorable and so very clever to boot.

I love Lily's jacket she wore on Mother's Day. I know what you mean about the monitor and hearing Lily interacting with her daddy. It always makes me smile when I can hear Troy chatting away to Savvy and Blakie on the monitor. It's just one of those things that make a mummy's heart sing.

Lots of love and hugs
Elise

P.S. Savvy is completely in love with the fairy you sent her. It is so very special to us and treasured. I still have not downloaded the photos, but as I mentioned in my email, I will send you some pics as soon as I have them on my computer.
